Temp my Tummy Tuesday

Thanks to Lisa at Blessed with Grace, for her Temp my Tummy Tuesday. Check out her blog to see more yummy treats!

This is an easy and yummy treat. I also substitute the butterscotch chips with peanut butter because I like that better but either way they are yummy!

Haystacks

Ingredients:
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
2 cups butterscotch chips
12 ounces peanuts
5 (5 ounce) cans chow mein noodles

Melt the chips in a saucepan on low heat. Stir in the nuts and the noodles.
Then drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper-lined cookie sheet. Cool and then store covered in the refrigerator.

Enjoy!

Yum. I make these...except use pecans instead of peanuts. I love them. Thanks for reminding me of them.

This is one of my favorite things! I make them this way, sometimes. But, my FAVORITE IN ALL THE WORLD way, is to use shoe string potato chips, butterscotch chips and peanut butter. Your was is GOOD TOO!

Yum-Yum- always good. We used make these less the peanuts and called them fried worms- with our classes follwoing the reading of the story- How to Eat fried Worms! My husband would love this with the peanuts!!
